Helping Others Grow in the Metro

Levant works hard to provide cost-affordable value and support to our local community. We provide a 20 percent upfront discount (roughly $500 in savings) on website projects for all 501(c)3 nonprofits, schools, churches, and other not-for-profit entities. Any ongoing requests in the future are also billed with a 20 percent discount at only $78/hour ($20/hr savings) in as little as 30-minute increments. All nonprofit hosting invoices receive a 50 percent ongoing discount ($144/annual repeat savings).

Additionally, we have partnered with more than 50 local nonprofits, including Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity, Norman Public School Foundation, Mustang Public Schools Foundation, Oklahoma Deaf and Hard of Hearing Transition Coalition, Loveworks Leadership, Oklahoma Families First Foundation, St. Mark Catholic Church, Toby Keith Foundation, OK Kids Korral, The MORE Foundation, Youth Services for Oklahoma County, WildCare, Norman Forward, Norman Chamber of Commerce, Norman Economic Development Authority, and Sooner Theatre.

Our team is actively engaged in the OKC metro. Our CEO, Stacy Eads, has been a Greater OKC Chamber Ambassador for nearly eight years and served as Chairwoman of their Ambassador program in 2015 and 2016. She was also recognized as the #2 volunteer in 2016 for new OKC Chamber membership recruitment, and Top 15 in Total Resource Campaign sponsorship sales with over $40,000 in a three-month period. She actively speaks at everything from the Trust Talks of the BBB, to the American Marketing Association, Oklahoma Sales Professional Association, and the Greater OKC Chamber’s new membership orientations to Women in Tech and STEM events held by vo-tech schools and the Girl Scouts. She has been a mentor within Norman Next and Edmond Young Professionals for both Chambers. Mrs. Eads is also a co-founding member of Business Links networking club at Gaillardia, and Sooner Networking of Norman. She served on the Women’s Leadership Committee of the Norman Chamber of Commerce, too, where she was nominated for the Athena Women’s Leadership Award.

Tarek Dina, Levant’s owner, also seeks out tons of volunteer opportunities. He is the head coordinator and liaison for Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church’s annual Lebanese Heritage and Food Festival in Norman. And he’s been known to serve food and beverages at the annual GermanFest to help out his long-time client, Old Germany.

Ryan Lassiter, our Business Development Manager, will be the Norman NEXT Young Professionals President in 2018 after his role this year of sitting on the board for several weather, government, and transportation committees. He’s also the volunteer photographer and ambassador coordinating one or two ribbon cuttings per week for the Norman Chamber. In 2016, he volunteered for the Turkey Day 5K committee, organizing a fun run for the Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity.

Chandler Scarbrough is a member of the NW OKC Young Professionals association, and volunteers to coordinate their Lunch and Learn sessions. Chandler is a certified OKC Chamber Ambassador volunteer at ribbon cuttings and sign-in tables. She is speaking at the Community Action Center this year to help educate newly emerging business owners on the dos and don’ts of website design and search engine optimization. Mrs. Scarbrough is also chairing a fundraiser for the foster care program Luggage with Love that has earned over $500 so far in donations for a summer clothing drive.

Project manager, Kara Moore, is active on the membership committee of the Business to Business networking group, and Tonya Sharp is active within the Thinking Big Yukon BNI chapter. Mrs. Sharp also has earned her Ambassador badge from all three chambers for participation in community ribbon cuttings with Norman, Moore, and the Greater OKC Chamber.

The entire team – including our shy programmers and designers who usually love hiding behind computer screens – took the phone lines this spring for the Norman Chamber’s four-hour volunteer-a-thon calling potential new Chamber members. We had a team of six present, called 150 business owners, got 15 interested, and closed three new members to help the Norman Chamber grow!

Fortunately, Levant is no stranger to awards. Our CEO, Stacy Eads has been recognized not once or twice, but 4 separate times as a 40 Under 40 top executive from the Norman Transcript, Oklahoma Magazine, OKC.Biz, and The Journal Record. In addition to numerous BNI awards for outstanding number of visitors and outstanding number of referrals given to others, Stacy was among the Top 15 fundraisers for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber after being a part of that particular campaign for just three short years. Levant is known in the community as the #1 Oklahoma Web Design firm due to our five consecutive years of first-place awards by OKC.Biz and the Oklahoma Gazette. What most people don’t know, however, is that Levant has received nationwide recognition by the Business Excellence Awards for Top 10 Customer Service in North America, as well as Top 5 Best Community Impact in North America, and even Top 5 Best Company Overall in North America. Needless to say, we’re really proud of what our staff has accomplished!
